When you choose not to listen to AI is how you ll show your personality in future. From LinkedIn to Bumble to Slack, every estate on internet where you have your profile is getting a AI “profile reviews” and “message rewriters”. These tools will no doubt “improve” your profile and writing but looks like they will make it more generic, “in the middle” as well. It’s hard to be “out there” with a AI generated LinkedIn post.
This is because LLMs are basically a general opinion of the entire internet. What the LLM is pressurizing you into editing is what the average on internet want. Imagine “getting peer pressured from the whole internet”, doesn’t sound as exciting as “using an AI assistant”, right?
When you will disregard and disobey these AI assistant’s recommendation is when you will truly express yourself. And when you don’t, know that what is getting posted under your name on these platforms, is the most mid, average, general version of what you started with.
