Fixing a small frustration

My phone has a loose usb-c connector. Everytime I have to charge it, I need to put the cable at a specific angle, apply pressure sometimes, or keep the phone on a ledge. It takes ~2 mins to figure out the exact position everytime I need to charge the phone. And half the time, it will just decide to stop charging midway and I ll end up with a 30% charge just as am about to go out for a long day🥲. Needless to say, I cannot hold and use my phone while it is charging ,which is extra frustrating for my pre sleep doom scrolling ritual😶‍🌫️.

This has been going on for at least 3 months.

Today, I went to a repair shop and got this fixed in 15 minutes.

Why did I wait 3 months to get this daily frustration fixed? Was it because it started gradually? Was it because I just learnt to live with this charging ritual and accepted it as part of my life? Or was it because I am plain lazy. I don’t know.

But here is a friendly reminder to notice some small frustration in your life and find those 15 mins to get it fixed.
