As someone who has always identified as an introvert, I have always thought life is hard for me. I mean, you have to always talk to people for everything in life. What the hell!!
But we introverts have it too easy. We have it too easy in 2024. With e commerce, we can essentially get all of commerce without physically talking to people. We can get a taxi without talking to the cab driver. We can get food without ever getting to know the waiter, or the street vendor, ever. We don’t even have to talk to a vegetable vendor.
Is it a good thing? On one hand it’s just more convenient, on the other hand are we missing out on developing a lot of social skills due to this lack of human contact? IDK
